Around the world with the Passport Collection: The Trevi Fountain

The Passport Collection from Top Knobs features designs from well known landmarks all over the world. One of the most familiar landmarks visited by patrons both near and far is the Trevi Fountain in Italy.  Located in Rome, legend has it that if one throws a coin into the Trevi Fountain it will ensure their return to Rome someday.

The Trevi Fountain, or Fontana Di Trevi, is the largest baroque fountain in Rome. It stands at 85.28 feet high and 160.72 feet wide. Each day, the fountain spills over 2, 824, 800 cubic feet of water. The fountain itself is made out of travertine and carrara marble.

The same half dome that is seen above the fountain was the inspiration for Trevi Fountain pulls and knobs in the Passport Collection. The cross weaved design that is on the half dome can be seen in all of the styles of the Trevi Fountain pulls, cup pulls, and knobs.
