Luxor series combines elements of ancient royalty with modern beauty

Luxor, the renowned Egyptian temple city and site of the famous city of Thebes, the City of a Hundred Gates, serves as the inspiration for the Top Knobs Luxor decorative hardware series. Part of the Passport Collection, the Luxor series embodies an international feel and a hint of ancient royalty blended to appeal to modern design aesthetics.

The breathtaking papyrus-shaped columns, stunning hand carvings and glimpses of a royal past, represent the special elements in the Luxor series. Just as the Temple of Luxor is known for high social status and exceptional luxury, the Luxor series captures its essence with handsome pulls and regal hardware.

Other series and inspirations in the Top Knobs Passport Collection include Rome’s Trevi Fountain, China’s Great Wall, Australia’s Sydney Harbour, London’s Tower Bridge and Africa’s Victoria Falls.

What exactly is an Appliance Pull?
An Appliance Pull is typically used on a paneled refrigerator, freezer, trash compactor, or dishwasher where the front of the appliance looks like a cabinet face rather than an appliance. The Appliance Pull is used to open the appliance door. Top Knobs has an extensive range of Appliance Pulls in a variety of styles and finishes. The choice of what Appliance Pull style to use is usually based on matching the knobs and pulls on the other cabinets and drawers.

What are the lengths of your Appliance Pulls?
Top Knobs Appliance Pulls range in length from 8″ to 30″.

How do I install an Appliance Pull?
It is best to refer to the manufacturer’s installation manual of your appliance. We recommend professional installation by a Top Knobs showroom dealer.

All Top Knobs products come with proprietary sealed finish and lifetime warranty. Visit www.topknobs.com to view the entire collection. For more information, view our catalog here.

Top Knobs adds life to a rowhouse kitchen

In Mount Pleasant, Washington D.C., rowhouse homeowners Lydia Pelliccia and Craig Schumpert transformed their narrow, dark galley kitchen into a spacious, family-friendly kitchen. The kitchen renovation includes Top Knobs decorative hardware and was featured in The Washington Post.

“We cook a lot for ourselves and entertain fairly regularly, and we wanted stuff within reach,” says Schumpert. “We wanted to be able to minimize clutter and didn’t want to bump into each other all the time when cooking.” He and Pelliccia wanted to be able to prepare dinner while having their daughter, Lola, 9, sitting nearby doing homework.

Interior designer Carmel Greer of District Design removed the interior walls on the main floor and expanding the kitchen to the full width of the house, placing the living area in front and the dining area in back. The kitchen is now the centerpiece of this house, and light floods in from both directions.
