Flat black Top Knobs hardware adds charm to One Room Challenge kitchen

When designer Vanessa Francis participated in the ‘One Room Challenge‘ she choose Top Knobs cabinet hardware to be part of her charming kitchen renovation.

Twice a year, twenty design bloggers participate in the One Room Challenge and transform a space. Every Wednesday for six weeks, designers document their process via social media while sharing their sources and professional advice. For the most recent challenge, Francis redesigned her own outdated kitchen.

Top Knobs Barrington Channing 3 3/4″cup pulls (TK773BLK) and Top Knobs Serene Lily 1 1/8″ knobs (TK820BLK) were used. Francis selected Top Knobs’ Flat Black finish to offset off-white cabinetry.

Collection details:

  • Five series: Allington, Brixton, Exeter, Kingsbridge and Torbay
  • 8 knobs in 3 series. Sizes range from 1” to 1 7/8”
  • 27 pulls from all 6 series. Sizes range from 3 3/4″ to 12”, including two 12” appliance pulls.
  • 1 decorative back plate from the Brixton series measuring 1 3/8”.

Appliance pulls from Top Knobs make an impact in a bright kitchen renovation

Top Knobs Appliance Pulls make a big statement when a Virginia couple upgrades their basic cabinets and dusty walls for an open layout kitchen with a personal touch.

Working with designer Stephanie Dickens, the couple was able to eliminate a short peninsula that separated the cooking area from the dining area in this 260 sq. ft. kitchen in Alexandria, Virginia. The renovation created a more spacious layout that allows for natural light to brighten the room.

Bright pink walls, the clients favorite color, were used to perk up the mostly white kitchen. A large French-door refrigerator was paneled to match the elegant raised cabinets throughout the room. Top Knob’s Chalet Appliance Pulls from the Chareau collection added a touch of personal flair to the couples matching appliances.
