Top Knobs Sets the Standard in an Award Winning Tampa Kitchen

In Tampa, Florida a French inspired kitchen using Top Knobs cabinet hardware has won the prestigious Southeast Builders Conference 2015 Aurora Award for Interior Merchandising/Design in the Kitchen category for projects in the $1,000,001-$2,000,000 range. Here’s a look at the project which was recently featured in House Trends Tampa Magazine.

Amoroso Cabinets, in calibration with Windstar Homes, were the masterminds behind the kitchen project. Since the kitchen is the heart of the home, the homebuilder put most of the budget into the kitchen where family and friends could gather in an open air space.

Screen Shot 2016-03-16 at 8.24.26 AMDoug Amoroso, President of Amoroso Cabinets told House Trends Tampa that the reasoning behind the bright, open air kitchen comes from the latest trend of people using shades of taupe, mushroom and grey with simple details to result in a clean and contemporary feel.

All of the custom made cabinets were perfectly accented by pulls from the Top Knobs Somerset Finial collection in the Pewter Antique finish.

Traditional shapes in contemporary finishes

Top Knobs Introduces the New Serene Collection

Top Knobs introduces Serene™, a collection of sophisticated decorative hardware styles in six contemporary finishes.

Available in 35 shapes in five series, the Serene Collection is the essence of refined style. Each series of elegant, transitional shapes is the ultimate accessory to a kitchen designer’s vision. Plus, like all Top Knobs decorative hardware, they feature solid construction and a superior finish that won’t show wear.

The Serene Collection includes more 12” pulls, a first from Top Knobs. While 12” appliance pulls are available in many Serene styles, 12” pulls that are the same thin width as the other handles in the collection are also available, creating a cohesive look when installed.

Eden

  • Classic circular knobs with footed base and detailed edging. Coordinates very nicely with Kara pulls.
  • Three sizes: 1”, 1 3/16” and 1 3/8”

Juliet

  • Elegant four-sided pulls that are thin in the middle and capped with emerald shape ends. Knobs rise from their base with a gentle sloping action.

Kara

  • Pulls with detailed bands and rounded ends, plus matching sphere shaped knobs
  • Eight products – including 12” pull, 1 knob: 1”, 6 pulls: 3 ¾”, 5 1/16”, 6 5/16”, 7 9/16”, 8 13/16” and 12”, 1 appliance pull: 12”
  • Available in 6 finishes: Flat Black, Brushed Satin Nickel, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Polished Chrome, Polished Nickel and Tuscan Bronze.

Lydia

  • Sophisticated rectangular pulls with coordinating hexagon and T shaped knobs
  • Nine products – including 12” pull, 3 knobs: T shaped flat –1 ¾” and flat hexagon top 1 1/8” and 1 1/4”, 5 pulls: 3 ¾”, 5 1/16”, 6 5/16”, 9” and 12”, 1 appliance pull: 12”
  • Available in 5 finishes: Flat Black, Brushed Satin Nickel, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Polished Chrome and Polished Nickel.

Lily

  • Reminiscent of a ballet barre, round pulls feature a footed base while coordinating cylinder shaped knobs accent the series
  • Eight products – including 12” pull, 2 knobs: 1” and 1 1/8”, 5 pulls: 3 ¾”, 5 1/16”, 6 5/16”, 7 9/16”, and 12”, 1 appliance pull: 12”
  • Available in 6 finishes: Flat Black, Brushed Satin Nickel, Oil Rubbed Bronze, Polished Chrome, Polished Nickel and Tuscan Bronze.
