Top Knobs named 2014 Vendor of the Year by Bath & Kitchen Buying Group

The award was presented to Top Knobs in recognition of its commitment to quality and innovation in its products, customer service and representation in the field, noted BKBG, based in Houston, TX.

“The Vendor of the Year award is the highest honor that we as an organization give to a preferred vendor. Top Knobs has gone above and beyond to help grow BKBG. We commend them for helping us create win-win relationships between manufacturers and dealers,” said Eddie Schukar, executive director of BKBG.

A Destination in Design: Passport Collection Luxor Series

Along the East Bank of the Nile near the ancient city of Thebes sits a sacred temple. At the Temple of Luxor, large crowds of soldiers, dancers, musicians, and high-ranking officials celebrated their belief in the divine conception and birth of their kings.

Magnificent papyrus-shaped columns and statues of the kings filled the temple. Carvings recording the history of the kings and their military victories covered the walls and columns.

This synopsis describes the ancient Egyptian temple city of Luxor – the design inspiration for the Top Knobs Passport Collection Luxor series.

Unfortunately, today’s larger hardware designs do not match the screw holes on older cabinets, making it more difficult to find new cabinet hardware that will integrate in the old cabinetry. Most kitchens made 15 to 20 years ago feature 3” center-to-center measurement between screw holes.
